If your not worried about the maintenance issues mentioned above I would go with a Bandit 400 for aesthetic reasons..
I also rode one last year in the city and because it is quite small and narrow it is easy to squeeze through tight spots with ease..
either way they are both great machines

As far as I know if your between FZ6 and a Ninja 650 your looking at 2 completely different engines... I have no clue about the details but this makes these two very different... if its your first bike then the ninja could be an option but the fz6 pulls ALOT harder.. (not meant to say that the 650 ...

I recently bought an FZ6 and its amazing...

My friends just bought a 250 ninja and a 650 ninja so I have had the chance to ride them all and the FZ6 in my opinion is by far a more fun bike..

the 250 ninja is great to learn on if you can afford a new bike next season.

Ok so I went to the dealer that sold my friend the bike and I dont know what was up the sales guys butt this time but we made a I think fairly reasonable starting bid and he just said leave... I bid $6200 out the door for an SV650N

So we headed over to the other dealer they didnt have Suzuki but ...

I don't have any xp with these chinese bikes... but I owned a Lifan 200 until recently... also 17hp and a claimed max speed of 75mph..

THe lifan was also chinese and the quality was cheap but I paid less than 2K for a brand new bike.. It was awsome to learn on in my opinion much better starter ...

The Z1R-Strike (ZRP) was their "top" helmet. And yes, it is cheap and does protect very well. But I've heard that the helmet is rediculously uncomfortable, noisy, and heavy. So it's a trade off...

I have this helmet and actually purchased it after reading that article. It sits very comfortably ...
