For safety classes you must have eye protection, be licensed, have protective clothing, have boots and a helmet, to get federal funds it's required, never mind what the state says about helmets.

you have to be licensed to drive an auto. You dont have to even have a moto permit to take an MSF ...

Honestly it sounds like it would be easier to get in trouble with the SV. I've heard the v-twin engine is tourquey and powerful right away, without having to be revved up.

That's not an issue, it's a nice smooth powerband

The powerband is definitely very smooth, but the power is right there ...

i hear there is a decent slider that will work with the fairing (not the suzuki full fairing sliders), but i think it costs somewhere in the area of $150-200 USD

yah, i was gonna say.. those are just factory lower fairing.. about $450-$550 USD, all stock colors.

and the SV itself rocks :)
