I think they're very nice looking bikes. Although personally, I think I'll stick to a pink jacket or accessories and ride a black bike. I like pink, but not on my bike, but good for those who do like it.

Wow, that's one pink bike. I sure like my fair share of pink (as you can tell from my screen name), but I can't say I'd ever own that one. Pink in moderation for me, but good for the person who 'wears' that bike well.

It's actually funny how opposite my parents are. I guess the issue of riding a motorcycle is always taken from a different perspective. I lucked out in having my older brother get his licence first (about 4 years ago). My mom is a nurse and yet she had few worries over my brother's interest in ...

It's good to hear you guys actually like the occasional "chick-flick." :)

My favourite embarrassing movie is Labyrinth. And, as a true 80's child, when I was about 7 or 8 years old I had the biggest crush on the Goblin King (aka David Bowie).

I'm glad to hear you are ok. I'm also glad you posted. As an inexperienced rider your experience is definately going to impact how I think when I get out in city traffic. I've pretty much stuck to empty parking lots and local roads so far. I'm wary about riding into the city but I hope to feel ...

I was on the HD Canada website yesterday, and I saw a very nice pair of boots for women. It's the first pair I've actually liked, it's too bad there was no price listed 'cause I'd love to know. I may have to make a trip to the dealership this week.

For now I'll stick with my hiking boots.

Hey, I ride a Kawi Eliminator and I'm a beginner. You will likely find it too small. It's very low. I'm 5'8" and it's not bad for me, but I can't imagine anyone much taller on it.

Thanks. It is a small bike but good to start on (plus my brother is shorter than I, and it is his.) The Eliminator I ride is red and happens to match my red helmet and red jacket.

The weather this weekend has been awesome, if only the giant snow pile infront of the shed would melt, I could then ...

Yeah, definately some good things to keep in mind. I've been told by some to avoid steel toe boots for one reason or another. But I guess anything goes then. Sneekers would be comfortable but I figure boots would be more protective.

cbm, we actually had rain up here in Ottawa this morning and it's ...
