I wouldn't say any particular exercises are necessary for riding, just work on anything that gets tired while you ride. For long distance riding I like to make sure I'm in good shape before the trip and then just make sure to stay stretched before any long leg.

I just finished up the details on an '07 SV650 last week and will be picking it up from the dealer April 1 (or a bit sooner ) The wait is killing me, but Minnesota weather doesn't agree with my current view of when the riding season should start.

You are coming to the game a bit late. As mentioned before the dealers are now more inclined to wait a bit until Spring fever hits and then they can sell for what they want.
