What's with the trailer in the pic? Where'd that come form? the curves are so tight that RV's and semi trucks take up both lanes. its a dragon slayers worst nightmare to come around a corner and see an RV or truck in their lane. (i say dragon slayer because the road is caled "the tail of the dragon...

yea, scraping peg on a 250 isnt too hard. when i get home i'll post a pic of the 1/8 inch of kick stand i ground off in a turn. (hard parts)

i sometimes lust after a bigger bike but to say im "bored" of the 250 would be a lie.

more pics to come...

the 919 is similar in power to a modern 600. it is closer to a 600 sport bike than a liter bike. i rode one the other day, it was nice but the tank spread my legs too far apart.

Verm- study that last pic. thats how you take a curve on a road. notice how my whole "O Ring" is on the seat, and the bike is leaned over.

i have a buddy whos 9 y/o loves to ride on his bike. she has full protective gear (helmet, gloves, jacket, pants, mc-specific boots) and they do fine together. i dont think you'd want to belt yourself to a child becasue in the even of a wreck you WANT to seperate from each other and the bike. person...

those GS500's are fun. friends just bought one and let me ride it, the difference between my 250 and her 500 is pretty noticable.

remember- any idiot can buy a liter bike and ride fast in a straight line, its the curves that seperate the men from the boys.

smaller bikes = better for curves.

to do a wheelie on the ninjette you must have SERIOUSLY messed up the clutch. (dont dump it at redline) because there is no way it wa a roll on.

its awesome. i've never ridden canyons but they look liek lots of sweepers- the dragon is very technical and lots and lots and lots of tight turns strung together. the videos on the interweb dont do it justice. its a sweet road. there are also 3-4 other amazing MC roads within about 50 miles, so its...

You guys also need to consider the suspension... not just the engine. On the 250, the suspension is going to be pretty much bottomed out with the highest preload setting. :( no preload on the two-fiddys. i say get a used 250 for $1500, ride it for a year (im 6'2, 240lbs) and then trade up. sell the...
