I have two -- Road Runner and my guilty pleasure mag, Robb Motorcycling. Some amazing stuff shows up in both. I don't care for most of the mainstream bike 'zines; they just wrap a thin layer of the same content everyone else is publishing for free on the web around 75 pages of ads.

I bought my bike from a guy who was 6'7" and probably in the high 200s, low 300s in weight, plus had a wife who was a dear woman if ... uh ... ample. The bike is a Suzuki Intruder LC. It's now sold in a slightly modified form called the Boulevard C90, for around eleven grand. I've seen LCs from...

Call me old fashioned, but have you considered telling them to f*ck off and quit treating you like a little kid? Risks are there, and no matter how careful you are, something terrible can happen to you on a motorcycle. Something terrible can also happen to your kids on a swingset, no matter how care...

One of my riding buddies has a '76 GoldWing that he has been riding since the day he rode it off the lot new. If the bike was a quality machine in the first place, and has been well maintained, it can last longer than you.

Bikespace is a great site; it's had very little uptake since it went online unfortunately (one of the founders and first three or four members myself.) It has a lot of potential -- just need more riders to join us over there!

I am the poster child for staying on smaller bikes for beginners. I rode for years as a teenager and adult, and on some fairly decent-sized bikes (my last bike before my hiatus was a 93 Honda ST1100 ABS, not a little or lightweight machine.) I then went a little over four years without riding, and w...

I know this sounds silly, but I really felt like somebody when I could do a U-turn without trailing my foot. I've seen guys in parking lots and group rides who say they've been riding 10+ years, yet they peddle around like Fred Flintsone when they're going under 10mph. So, when you're perfectly comf...
