Femmoto 2008... anyone going?

I'm hoping to make it this year, if I don't have to work. Does anyone know if you have to pre-register, or can you just turn up on the day?

Women's leather race suits?

What do you folks wear on the track? I'd like to do a track day at some point but all my gear is textile and doesn't zip together (my track requires a 1-piece suit or a 2-piece that zips all the way round). I'm 5'2" and about 120lbs. I don't really want to blow a fortune on a custom suit if I d...

I would suggest keeping the little Ninja for a while longer. I had mine for almost 2 years before upgrading it to a Ninja 650. You don't necessarily have to keep it that long, but if you ride it for a year you'll learn to get every ounce of performance out of it and it will make you a better rider. ...

You blue bike and face shield stand out so nicely against the desert colours. Thanks! I love the blue... it looks gorgeous in person when the sun shines on it (which it does almost every day in Vegas!) Unfortunately my dog chewed up my blue boots yesterday, so now I have to find some others that fi...

Well, I went out shopping with my hubby today, fully intending to sit on every bike I could just to try them out, and came home with a Ninja 650 :) Most of the shops I went in had more super sports than anything, but I did manage to try out most of those listed here. Of the super sports, by far the ...

Researching a new bike... what to avoid?

Hi all :) I've been riding my trusty Ninja 250 for almost 2 years now, and I think I'm ready for something with a little more oomph. I promised myself a good 2 years of riding experience before getting a new bike, so I'm not really in a particular hurry... just researching things to look for. Since ...

I don't have much luck finding boots to fit me. I'm very wary about buying online because the sizing is always different for each boot, even from the same manufacturer. The motorcycle stores (of which there are quite a few) in my area have a very limited range of women's boots. Of the three pairs I ...

I'm pretty mechanically minded, but sometimes I get in over my head and wish I'd never started. Same goes for everything else I own too... I can't own something without taking it apart and modding the heck out of it!

I usually make sure I refuel before the gauge hits 250 miles. Having said that, one day my hubby (who weighs 250lbs - twice as much as me) decided to take my bike to work, which is 50 freeway miles out of town. The bike hauled him and all his work gear (probably another 50lbs) out there and back at ...
