The ignition is ok, i can start the bike fine. But the key is jamming. I have to jiggle is a bunch of times, and pull it out and push it back in. The bike only has like 6000 miles on it so it seems strange that something so trivial could go wrong so soon.

Plus it's a standard back wheel. (a GZ-250) I have no bags or anything. I guess replacing the tube itself is trivial. It's taking the back wheel off and removing the tire from the rim that's all the work. And putting it back on..

OK let me ask this: can I take it to any tire place?

This is the third time in less than a year that i have a flat tire on the back tire, and it costs me $100 every time. Should it cost less? If this is going to be a regular thing I'm going to have to make some arrangements.

I thought every 3000 miles. like a car. My rider friend says every 10000 to 15000 miles. Also, if I change it myself, do I have to use motorcycle oil or can I use regular car oil?

I bought 3 quarts of motorcycle oil for my GZ250 and a filter, and the total was $35. I can get it done for me for $50.

Do you have to do this? I've been told that only dirt bikes need to be cleaned. What I've been doing is spray it with bike grease every time a spot of rust appears. If it needs to be cleaned, what's involved?
