Ok, this is scarey...I was going to get a Shoei RF1000, but they didn't have the color I wanted so I got the Scorpion. The curtain only costs about $6...worth not wearing ear plugs. Yeah, I hope I can get the bike I want soon...I'm thinking about the Interceptor...do you know anyone who has one? Any...

Back to the helmet thing...I learned from my MSF instructor (who also has the same helmet but in blue) that we can block out the wind noise by putting what they call a curtain in the front (under the chin part of the helmet). This way you don't need to wear ear plugs. One day, I look forward to owni...

That was a fun ride VermilionX...and as always, I enjoyed the scenary. Looking at the picture of your bike next to mine makes mine look silly. :) As for the same helmet thing...hey now...we have one of the best helmets out there...don't you want to stay with the cool group? 8) If you do deside to ge...

You can get a EX250 OTD for $3,400 in Santa Ana, CA. They will charge you for delivery to your door if you choose to have them deliver it. If you're inexperianced at riding on the streets, it's best to have them deliver it.

Oh my gosh...that's funny...and sad.

What was that noise on the Ducati before it went down? Seemed like the gear was off...had a weird click as though something was catching. That person seemed to start fine, then all of a sudden drop...what happened?

I agree...LoJacks for bikes are a waste of money...I can just see it now...the police chasing your bike down the freeway on the channel 2 news, then they go down as your precious bike slides across four lanes into the center divider. Just insure it, pay the deductible and move on...things happen for...

In a car I generally go 5mph over speedlimit on freeways...and I drive what's posted on surface streets. In my area it's heavily patroled, and I'm not allowed to receive any tickets. On a bike, pretty much same on surface streets, but on freeways I go about 10-15 mph over posted speeds because that ...

Make sure you are at 1st gear when you start from a stopped postion. There are times when even though you've thought you downshifted to 1st gear, you really haven't...because the gears don't catch with the teeth. This has happened to me about 3 or 4 times with my EX500, and when I was riding my frie...

I do like sport bikes...and I like crusiers too...but they are kinda heavy and less manuverable. I'm currently looking at the Honda Interceptor, Honda CBR600, Yamaha R6, and the Kawi Ninja 650R...I know, these are all very different bikes. I don't want anything too aggressive...don't want accidental...
