someone else posted this video before...not sure if its on this site but... If I remember correctly someone translated the German and thought he was at least a beginner rider...tho not sure if that could be substantiated. All the gear he is wearing looks brand new...the leathers arent dirty at all(n...

There is really no "set" answer for this question as it depends on the situation, as well as the rider. Speaking for my self, if I am cruising around in a higher gear, and I need to slow down at a slower pace, I will engage the clutch, downshift, and relatively slowly disengage the clutch while addi...

A few nervous passengers but none of them resulted in anything nuts...most were level headed.. I DID however have a girlfriend fall asleep on the back of the bike...you can imagine my horror as I went around a turn and she started to tip off....luckily grabbed her and kept her on the damn thing. Ill...

uh...yeah...

please refer to the numerous stickies at the top of this forum for your answer.

And no, 600RR bikes are NOT for beginners.

And how is practicing on your brothers going to make it any less of a danger to you?

The rake and trail on a motorcycle has much more to do with "flickibility" than "stability." Now a bike with a longer trail might seem more stable to some, but that is only because it takes more control input to get an equivalent lean angle than a shorter raked bike. Conversely, a short raked bike w...

Min in Texas up until recently was around 5.35 and hour(for adults, not minors) bar/waitstaff pay was and still is $2.13 an hour. Anyway, that bike you found probably is a scam. You will find them on craigslist a lot. After you establish contact the "owner" will give some sort of weird financial pay...

just a simple stab at it...but does this all happen right when you engage the ignition? Is it just the warning light tests etc upon starting the vehicle?(Similar to how cars will turn on some of their lights upon turning the ignition)

I'm on my second RF1000 and I really like that helmet. Light(ish) decent venting(even in hot and humid texas) and really quiet compared to the other helmets i've used. Whistling? that was one thing that I was really happy with on these helmets. Are you sure your visor is completely snapped in? Reaso...

I meant absolutely NO disrespect to anyone, and I dont mean to stereotype at all...it was actually the opposite since I have had recent experience with a couple certain circumstances.... I tried to state that I did NOT say ADD or ADHD is a SOLE PROBLEM or even a MAJOR problem at all. I meant that co...

I just have a quick thing to throw in here... PLEASE be careful if choosing to ride. I wanted to ride at your age too and was pissed that the parents wouldnt let me buy a street bike instead of a car. Its probably for the best looking back on things. Secondly, about the ADD thing... This needs to be...

It wouldnt start because when a bike ends up on its side, it will usually flood the carbs(assuming the bike has carbs) with gasoline. It takes a little bit for the gas to flow back out of the carbs so you can start it. U-turns can be tricky, epecially in the real world. Gravel, changes in the road t...
