that's good to know. They provide great grip as well. That comes in handy when you bike weighs 700+ pounds.

Combat boots have been working well for me, but I've never crashed in them so I don't know how they'd hold up. I wear the boots for work as well, so it's nice to be able to wear the same boots to ride to work as I wear all day.
