Hey I just got back from vacation from the Philippines this morning 8) You're bike is a cut above what's normally on the roads in the Philippines. I have to say the bike/scooter riders in the Philippines have the biggest cajones. Lane splitting in California is one thing, but you haven't really live...

Where are you guys in NOVA? I'm in Woodbridge myself. If you two aren't to far away, we should ride sometime (if you don't mind hanging with a cruiser :) )

yeah this scenario was covered in our MSF course. Riding over a 2x4 is not a big deal (hell, I've gone over pot holes bigger!). Essentially he did everything wrong, not trying to be a jerk but just pointing it out. You try to aim yourself to the obstacle so you are going to hit it straight on. Raise...

Before April doesn't look good either. My Mom is preparing to retire to the old country so I'm helping out. Then in April I'm going with her to the Philippines for vacation. After April is better for me, but don't let me hold you back.

I'm glad weather is getting warm again so I can get back on the bike. I'm an SUV driver and I knew what I was getting myself into when I bought the truck, so I'm not complaining. My 4Runner gets decent mileage so it's not too bad.

1987 Honda "Super" Magna http://home.comcast.net/~acuestaj/motorcycle/IMG_1261.jpg I love the sound of the V4 screaming! It's my first and only bike so far but I've learned a lot from riding it already. I put 8K miles last year in my first season of riding it. I'm looking put plenty more in the seco...

Count me in for that. Just a heads up. I'm not sure what the time frame of this trip would be, but I'm out of the country for pretty much all of April. Anytime after that, I'm good.

The 7 positions is probably referring to the preload. If you are carrying more weight or are a heavier rider, you would bump up the preload so the bike won't "sag" as much. This will make the bike a firmer ride... The size of the engine is not what you need to worry about, it's more of the gearing o...

I planning to make a ride down to NC this August for Super Magna Meet. It's only a couple hours away and nothing as grand as your trip. If you're in the Norther Virginia Area, let me know and we'll meet up.

I saw this bike on craigslist near my area. Could it be an older sibling? I guess the VTR250 got discontinued in the states though
