1. Why wouldn't you wear it?
2. Have you seen pictures of road rash?
3. Remember how bad it hurt when you were a kid and fell off your 10 speed at like 10 mph?

Personally I always wear gear. I don't care if people ride helmetless / jackletless; I see it a lot in the city. What pisses me off is see ...

I don't think there's a hard and fast formula to use to make this calculation (drop 20 mph and gain how much time off 0-60). But, my top speed dropped by 7.05% which in your example equates to about 0.282s reduction in 0-60. This is of course assuming a direct relationship between top speed and ...

What are you looking to accomplish? Dropping your ratio will increase the bike's top speed and decrease its acceleration. This generally makes the bike less street friendly. Increasing the ratio will of course have the opposite effect; greater acceleration and less top speed. Since you cannot use ...

Anyway, I always wondered if titanium set off the metal detectors at airports...

Nope it does not. Kinda takes the fun out of going through the detectors. Maybe next time slide through the Xray machine that does the carry-on bags :D

I had a cousin with one leg shorter than the other by maybe an ...

I think I posted something about this before. Drag will play a major role in high speeds; much more important than power, rolling resisance, or gearbox losses. If you want fast, the relationship between hp and MPH is 8:1. In other words to double your speed you need 8 times as much power (its a ...

Yeah, it's totally hilarious!!! I mean, what could possibly be annoying about someone riding 300kph on a public road with traffic on it?

"Officer I was clearly going 299; perhaps some donut crumbs were obstructing the display on the radar." Then of course comes the beating and the taser ...
