If you bypass the switch, make sure it won't come undone while riding. It would suck to have the engine quit at a bad time.

The switch is normally closed when the kick stand is up. So you can remove the wires from the swtich and solder them together to bypass it. Make sure you leave some excess on ...

Ouch, using a stationary object for this type of training is like using a buddy at the firing range to sight in your scope. Moving the aimport closer and closer each time until he can hear it wizz by to let you know you've got it pretty close :)
