A 250 is a great bike to learn on, but plan on moving up pretty quickly once you get a bit of experience.

It's all in the technique. My Vulcan 750 pops right up on the center stand...as long as you do it right.

At 20 years old and 1650 miles it's been sitting for more than one year! I suggest you get to a MC mechanic to have it gone over before she gets it out and rides very much. Chances are that anything on or in the bike that is made of rubber has deterioriated. That old gas in it has probably gone bad ...
