I managed to go over the back on a ninja 250, man do I feel dumb. I guess i freaked on the startoff and dumped the clutch. Again best all around, 650r. I own a cruiser and a ninja. I'm not sure how my marauder compares to a sporty or my 250r compares to a 650r but i can say that the 250r is a HECK of alot funner. !!!!

There may be a thread about this already but I gotta say they make one heck of a helmet, can't beat the EX-700 ventilation system for the price. And the no fog shield truely works even in the Louisiana humidity. Just puttin that out there

Just picked one up real cheap, its an '02 with 10k. I understand the design hasnt changed much and i was wandering what mods and such have you other 250r owners/ past owners performed or heard of. Appreciate the input peeps

Layed it down doing about 15mph, I hit some gravel during a corner and before you know.... No real damage to the bike just a scuffed up gas tank, bent clutch lever and footpeg. As for myself I'm no worse for the wear thanks to some quality gear. Dress for the CRASH not for the ride.

I've decided to go with an Ex-700 by scorpion;mainly because it has a washable,removeable liner and it gets mighty hot down here. Thaks for your input everyone

I recently tried on quite a few helmets and I'd have to say its a toss up between a scorpion EX-700 and an Icon mainstream. Does anyone have any good or bad news either way.
