I tagged a robin (I think from the feathers that were left) with one of my engine guards at about 80 in Nevada. Saw him fly in from the front on the right but never saw him exit. Didn't realize I had hit him until I stopped and found this: http://home.comcast.net/~smithduck2/bmw8/bmw8_album/slides/b...

You can buy grip rubber with either open or closed ends. It'll cost you about $8-10 for aftermarket grips. ProGrip makes good gel grips.

I'm a newbie - so definitely not the bike for me. I'll look for the K75s and still keep an eye open the 650. The reviews I read on the 650 were not bad. This youtube clip was really funny...Might as well ask: what Honda would you recommend for a beginner? Thanks for the advice! VTR250 Nighthawk 400

The biggest problem on steel grate brdiges is usually in the rider's head. Relax, don't fight it when it wanders a little. Like other aspects ofriding just look up and ahead and look where you want to go. Best approach is to accelerate slightly or at least keep a consistent speed. If wet, give yours...

If you're a newb, then it's probably too much. I took one for a test spin a few weeks ago at Ride West BMW. Was used to my heavier K bikes so when I put on the throttle coming out of a turn the front end came up a bit before I finished the turn. Didn't phase me but I don't think a newb would...

I tried getting my brother started out on a K75. It would be OK for some but was too heavy for him. So I started looking around at all of the "good beginner bikes" and decided that the Rebel would be a bad choice. Mostly because you're not going to be able to ride it at on the freeway for ...

Email the VIN to the Mass. DOL where it's supposedly titled and ask them if they can help in determining the stauts of the title. They will know more about this than anyone here. I wouldn't be too worried about a lost title. People lose them all the time so there's no need to suspect a scam. I have ...

I concede it may make a difference with a bike 150 pounds heavier than all the ones I have experience with. What happens if you roll the bike forward in gear until it stops then put it on the centerstand? There should be plenty of drive train slop to get the tire in the air before the engine stops ...

The first thing to do is put the bike in neutral. Otherwise you're starting out working against a locked rear wheel. I can't say I've ever had that issue. Since you are pulling straight up there is almost no friction between the tire and the ground. It probably depends on the bike. On a 640# BMW K1...
