Thats probably a pilot only adjustment though... often called the pilot air screw. As soon as your pull that throttle, the main jets take over and that adjustment won't help much. You could try shimming the slide needle, that would richen the mix a bit. Probably need brass flat washers of various th...

I tried to join the BMW user group twice and never got an acceptance. Guess I'm not special enough. How can I say this? It's... it's.... it's your F800 - it's just not a boxer! Only bikes with boxer mills are real BMW's!!!!! (I can sympathize - our G650X isn't a "real" BMW either - it has...

A little piece of me smiles when I read someone having troubles in their early 20s.... Why? Let me tell you. With the single difference being my wonderful girlfriend (now wife), my 20s were very similar. I had crap jobs, I had a crap apartment, I had crap cars, no friends, no prospects, no education...

+1 for AVG. I haven't used it personally for a few years since I run Linux, but the wife still runs windows and it works GREAT!! When I do setups for people who buy new computers, one of the first things I do is uninstall the pre-load anti-virus and reload AVG.

I put zero confidence in consumer reports.

IMHO when they weight the value of a produce, they put to much weight on cost, and not enough on fit and Finnish or quality.
They also have the unfortunate following of zealots who will shop with their rag in hand making foolish decisions.

I doubt that statement very much. 8) Can anyone out there show me a bike from ANY manufacturer with the original engine with that kind of mileage on it? That may be Honda's ultimate goal but I don't think they are quite there yet. I still ride a 1990 PC. I've put well over 200,000 miles on it since...

is because when you do it, you're moving your weight at least partially with your hands and arms. That causes you to press on the steering bar (steering bar is beginner's term for handlebar, kind of like the steering leashes used on a horse) on the opposite side. That is what is actually effecting ...

It occurs to me a couple of things: 1. Learning to ride a bike using "Youtube" as your source of information has got to be the worst idea I've ever heard of. 2. If you have to "Force" the bike to lean, your not steering right. 3. If you've never gone over 30mph, then your counter-steering experience...
