I opt for the ZEN answer: it's not where it IS, but where I make sure it ISN'T:

I keep it away from things that might damage it:

1. gas fumes, so I NEVER, EVER put it on the gas tank; ever see what gas does to a styrofoam cup? That same styrofoam is in your DOT-approved helmet...

First, sorry to hear about the crash, hope he heals quickly and returns to full functioning ASAP.

Gravel can fall onto the road from a truck carrying, guess what...gravel! So even though a road appears perfect the day/hour before and no weather actions like a down pour washing gravel into the road ...

It's not "correct" if you are not getting the result you wanted. Just that simple. If you want to lean more, press more on the inside grip.

They are wrong about low speeds. Countersteering happens at ALL speeds.
