Need help on two HJC helmet differences
I'm looking at two modular helmets within the HJC product line. The differences elude me and please note I could care less about blue tooth abilities. First is the HJC IS-Max. $269 at revilla. Second is the HJC SysMax. $189 at revilla. Both are modular, both have a slide down sun visor. These are th...

Looking for info on greater deals gap area for next year
Is there a book for bikers that summarizes the various bike routes, hotels etc with contact info that is not made by the tourism boards? Most of what I see is a huge advertising pile of overlapping services and products with no coordination between them. I don't want to go down there and with my six...

Anyone rent a bike for vacation at another U.S. city?
I'm thinking of a summer vacation flying to Vegas and renting a bike. 1. Do any rental services have a bike pickup and dripoff at the airport? 2. If so what was your rental cost, type of bikes offered and experence? 3. Any road serviced offered and how much extra? 3. What U.S. cities have you done t...

Battery tender JR. and use of timer
I use the Battery Tender Jr after I replaced my 6 month old battery this past spring. I've been very happy with it and being able to see the state of the battery when I first hook it up and after a short time later. Bike and battery will remain outside but completely covered from rain/snow/wind. I h...

So Idevices, mamoth flat screen TV's with surround sound amoungst other itmes does displace money for a bike that was never a dream for them. Having a bike has always been a dream of mine befo...

300 Amp jump starter Is it worth $30 ?
I found a new 300 amp jump starter from Peak but have not seen it myself, just in paper. So I don't have the details on keeping it charged up, like does it have a built in trickle charger. What I would like your opinions on is 300 amps enough to not just start a bike that is too heavy to be bumped (...
