The bike looks dumb. Some idiot driving or riding next to him may get into an accident trying to read his plates.

While his dedication to his faith is impressive, I doubt he will convert anyone, and just simply puts another uneeded distraction on the road.

Interesting topic here.

I find it hard to believe anyone would intentionally make fun of disabled riders. Very sad indeed. It appears some posts have been deleted from this thread, so I don't have a complete idea what was posted, but it sounded not good.

But I do understand Shorts dismay over ...

Yikes, glad your ok!

I'll uh, no offense, try to not repeat that incident when I take the MSF.

I wonder if anyone has died taking the MSF?

MSF?!?!

Bah!

I'm going to buy a Hayabusa, have the speed limiter removed and then have a turbo put on it. I'm not worried about my lack of so-called experience stoping me.

Of course I'll take the MSF course. Sadly, there are no HD dealers in California that offer this course. So I won ...

Despite my brothers obsession with Cyclones, I won't touch any Buell before 2003! Buell bikes seemed to have improved drastically since 2003.

Hey Earwig, thanks for suggesting a Cityx. But wouldn't that violate the 500cc and above rule that every expereinced rider is adament about on this forum ...

Buell Blast as a beginner bike.

A few people have recommended one to me. The only problem is the bike looks kinda small for my 6'2 220 lb frame. Then again many other beginner bikes look kind of small too.

Any feedback or different suggestions would be appreciated.

A minority of motorcycle enthusiasts have created the bad rap that many an innocent motorcyclist has had to deal with. I have a saying it goes "The one percent ruin it for the rest of us." This saying can be generalized to pretty much anything fun. Take video games, sunbathing, and even literature ...

Me likey!

I would eventually like to get a Lightning, however I doubt it would be the best bike for a beginner. While the Blast appears to be a decent beginner bike, I think my 6'2 225 lb frame would look really silly on it.

Greetings all

Greetings from Fullerton, California.

I will soon be learning to ride, and I am researching what to buy. My older brother is an experienced rider, however he is a reckless nut who I will not use as a role model. I am seriously shocked he is still alive.

His recommendation for my first bike, the ...
