Practice, practice, practice! From your riding experience it could be a problem with the bike in that you obviously have some experience and have not yet adjusted to this particular bike. I don’t think it’s a very good idea to try to be glancing at instrumentation while in a turn. You should always ...

Very good question Valocity! What leap forward are potential Harley buyers looking for? What would constitute exciting or new by their standards? I think design and model changes , technology upgrades and paying attention to other features the consumers have been asking for. In Harley’s world their ...

What about the 2010 Harleys?

There doesn’t seem to be any interest at all in the new 2010 Harleys. What gives? In previous years the chatter began months before the new model year. The 2010’s have been posted on TMW for about a week and not one comment yet. There isn’t anything exciting or new out for 2010 and a big disappointm...

Use A BEACH BALL

I came up with this idea years ago and it works great. Get a medium or small size BEACH BALL and inflate it to the appropriate size to fill in the empty space in the top box or side bags. It does a good job of securing almost anything. Good for around town and long trips as well. You can carry them ...

Harleys?????

I'm currently between bikes and doing the usual research. As much as I want to buy AMERICAN I'm having a very hard time justifying another Harley. I'm not trashing Harleys or Harley owners. I'm just trying to approach the purchse of a new bike by being the devils advocate with a little logic and rea...

Just a thought, but you may have to register the cycle to the ez pass with the state. I'd call them and find out. It could be that your ez-pass won't work if the original license plate isn't recognized. I don't know how these things work. If every plate is scanned as you pass, that is if they are sc...

The Ohioharleyguy is right as far has Harley playing catchup and it's far more than just the brakes. Feature for feature Harley falls far short of most of the other bikes on the market in almost every class. Harley is not the best, the cheapest, the fastest, the most reliable, has higher maintanence...

96 vs. 96B What are your thoughts?

I'm not a mechanic or an engineer and would like input on this topic. It would seem that the 96B is the better engine. Logically, the vibrations caused by the 96 creates a self destruct feature for both the engine and other components. The balanced 96B is so much smoother. I'm wondering why the 96B ...

Any advantages or disadvantages to Softail suspension

What are the pros and cons to the Harley Softail suspension or for that matter the "Dyna" line of Harleys.
