I ask because i fly R/C aircraft, and joked in another thread about combining the two and going to the flying field with my model on the bike, but it's now got into my head and i'm wondering if it ...

My name is Gordon and i live in Scotland where we have some fantastic roads through some of the most picturesque glens, valleys, loch sides. It's just a shame the weather doesn't match the scenery.

But... here's what happened, i looked the the bike over from lever to gearbox, read a few other threads on TMW (great site BTW) and felt that the cable wasn't properly adjusted since there was no free play in the lever AT ALL. I set about adjusting the cable at ...

XJ 600 clutch slipping
Hi All,
New to biking, just got my first bike today, it's a 1992 XJ600.
Got a little problem with it on the first ride, the clutch is slipping when i open it up (at least i think it's the clutch, i'm a car guy and to me it sounds like that's the problem).
My question is, is there any adjustment ...
