That's a nice looking ride, i doubt very much if HD would ship one of them there bikes to us in UK, but that doesn't matter coz we couldn't afford one on our wages anyway

Yeah, sorry, that wasn't really a question about the guy that had it before me, more of an observation (i was thinking and typing at the same time).

That's a good call though about ordering the parts before i actually need them, coz it's inevitable that i WILL need them, and quite possibly ...

But... here's what happened, i looked the the bike over from lever to gearbox, read a few other threads on TMW (great site BTW) and felt that the cable wasn't properly adjusted since there was no free play in the lever AT ALL. I set about adjusting the cable at ...

New to biking, just got my first bike today, it's a 1992 XJ600.

Got a little problem with it on the first ride, the clutch is slipping when i open it up (at least i think it's the clutch, i'm a car guy and to me it sounds like that's the problem).

My question is, is there any adjustment ...
