Oh...the infamous neighbors. I have one across the street who is the coolest guy ever who also rides. When he saw me, he was so shocked & probably thought my husband was crazy.

I hv long straight black hair..all the way to my butt so a ponytail with 4 or 5 hair ties work for me or I just stuff it in my jacket so I cant relate with helmet hair but I get the "knots" if I don't put enough hair ties so I always carry a little hair brush.

Keep practicing in the parking lots, then the neighborhood street(s) then gradually to the busy streets. For those of you familiar w/ NJ, I've been on the major routes, back roads, etc....

I ride with my hubby, his brother, his cousin and a couple of friends. I'm the only lady in the group. My sister in law took the course with me - we both passed - but when she got her own bike, she could not ride it and did everything wrong - so she gave up in 2 months, probably rode it abt 5 times,...

Deedee, sounds like you are having a good time! When i went riding the first time, my husband was the nervous one. He was more relaxed when he saw that I was doing great.

Enjoy and ride safe.

I am mechanically inclined to absolutely nothing. I take care of the house and hubby takes care of the cars and the motorcycles.
