As a student, I rode my motorcycle while in high school. The worst that ever happened to it was someone took a paint ball gun to the spokes/wheel. It washed off easy enough. My bike was there during school and even after school for about two hours as I was very active in athletics.

One twist that has Virginia drivers enraged is that the state can't charge fees on out-of-state drivers or revoke their licenses. For now, the fees apply only to residents. I don't know why everyone is so bent out of shape about this. The only people who should be pitching a fit is the VA residents...

Most lights trip okay for me by running up on the grooves/cuts in the road. To date I have reported two sensors that needed adjusted as they go by weight, and my little 250cc bike isn't near enough to cause it to trip. I have to rely on a car and usually have to turn my torso around and wave the dri...

I stopped waving. 35 years ago it was different. We were a much rarer breed. You might see another biker once or twice ain a day and you'd acknowledge each other. Today you can see another bike every few miles. last week this guy almost wipedout waving at me coming out of a turn. Really people it's...

Why do Harley riders wear $1500 of leathers and no helmet, while Sport bike riders wear a $500 helmet and shorts?

This made me laugh. :P

MMORPGs I've played in the last 10 years: The Realm, EQ, DAoC, WoW, and D&D Online (DDO). Of the above, the only active account is WoW. Have almost three 60s on Dalaran/Alliance (warlock is 56, mage 60, priest 61). Haven't had much time to log in this year due to full time work and school kicking my...

Here is my advice. Here is my background: At 18, living with my parents, I got charged $10.00 every time I was caught up past 2am. Let's just say I am a major tightwad and a scrooge when it comes to money (Hence, parents punished with it because it usually worked) After a little bit of that, I moved...

Nothing wrong with a spiffy leather jacket (or now I have my joe rocket jackets :P) Aw Jeah! High school was same thing. Helmet lock fell off a f...

I feel more safer on the highway than I do in town. On the highway, everyone should be going the same direction. In the city you have intersection, people changing lanes, weaving more, although this happens on the freeway, it's not as congested. (IE, you travel in a pack unless you can pul...

+1. I rev out of boredom. I'll probably blip 3-4 times at a redlight or so. Little blips, nothing outrageous.

can't turn that sharp, with a sport bike to boot.

Freaking tardcake on a sportbike. /cry

Wonder if he's on a learner's permit or if he actually has his license.. Now that would be scary to think he obtained a license and was unable to turn properly.

If someone with a video camera were to catch you in action and you were able to pick a song to match the footage, what would you pick if you were: Recorded in the city? Recorded on the highway? Recorded in a group ride with a bunch of friends? Mine would be: Recorded in the city: Bee Gee's - Staying...

Was randomly searching the web for reflective decals and came across this: http://www.streetglo.net/catalog2/image/girl%20biker%20on%20a%20car%20windows%20decal.jpg You could slap that on the back of your helmet. That particular sticker is $6.95, so if it's worth it to you, you could let people know...
