How is the S40 working out for you???

Hi there. I was just wondering if you went with the S40 and if so, how you like it. My friend is looking into learning to ride - I highly recommended the MSF before she even buys a bike. Anyway, she is very petite, so I thought this bike wiht its light weight might be a good starter when she is read...

My new V star 650

Well, we went to check out the bike today - 150 miles away. It was everything I had hoped - beautiful paint job and sounded great. After paying, I had Hilarye ride her the first 90 or so miles home. She is accustomed to her 750 Shadow Spirit, so it was like second nature to her. I, of course, used t...

1st bike...kinda

Good morning ladies!!! I too am considering a V Star 650 Custom. I have found a great deal on an '06 with only 75 miles on it. The seller is having it serviced today so that it will be road ready right away. Anyway, I am wondering if it might be too much bike for me. I started out in 2004 on a 150 c...

I guess it is not so much that the bike wants to lean exactly. It's more that (being a short rider) that is the side I catch her on when she does that front end dive thing from a pretty strong brake. I have read about the 250s having that dive - guess it is normal - but when I stop like that, it loo...

Speaking of "Sticking" the landing...I have a ques

I just purchased an '06 Ninja 250 2 weeks ago and have ridden it in real traffic only twice - it had 370 miles when I bought it, put on 140 and now cannot ride it again until Monday when I take her in for her 500 mile service. Anyhow, on those two occasions, I have had a little trouble with the land...

I am so looking forward to the riding season here in KY. Particularly since I am planning to purchase an '07 Suzuki S50 as soon as the weather clears for good  - just can't stand the thoughts of having a great new bike sitting in the garage waiting to be ridden. Our WOW Chapter is very acti...

I took my road "test" in Frankfort, KY. All I had to do was ride the bike down a quiet street, turn around and come back to the testor. He signed a piece of paper and told me to go get my license!!! Honestly, while I am glad I received my license, I am concerned about the inadequacy of tes...

I'm new here too and to riding a manual transmission machine, so I just bought a '96 Rebel on Tuesday. Still trying to get really comfortable with getting moving with throttle and clutch in first, but am sure the MSF course next week will help with that. I have my eye on a Shadow Aero 750 too. I sat...
