The FZ6 is gone. I am rather sad about it. I love mine to death. I was debating trading it in to go up to aFZ1 next year but I don't think I will do that now. Plus the colors are not appealing at all for 90 and 10. I might just keep it. Or I might sell it privately after I fix the scratches. I do wa...

I have never pictured harley as the be all and end all of motorcycles. Some people like them. A lot of people do *not* like them. A lot of people do not even like cruisers at all and would never consider one. Just becuase your co-workers are ignorant parrots does not mean you have to be irritated by...

And taking other peoples photographs from other forums to use as photographs of your girlfriend was because? Your shares where to low? You could not show her because she is a share holder as well so found a likeness? It is your girlfriends twin and twin bike so it seemed okay?

It is getting hot and people are stripping off their clothing as they ride. I admit I don't wear a lot under my gear but what I wear is under my gear. It gets toasty, especially with my under seat exhaust.

But crocks? My lord, why?

[quote="koji52"]You forgot a pic http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b49/koji52/img_1549.jpg [/quote I'll play now that I've caught on and caught up. So Koji found the website that is supposed to be Ryethil's girlfriend. Only the pics show her posted by a dude on another forum as his girlfriend and he...

Heh. I wound up shaving down most of the dogs. I couldn't keep up the coats when I was in the academy. I tried, I failed, it sucked, but whatever. My grades where super good and that dedication is helping me as I learn how to apply that irl. I want to ride more thou :( And I've taken on some great o...

BTW the Gurl vs Girl thing I find to be rather silly. Why label yourself just to do the things everyone else does? Ride your bike, be female, enjoy yourself, care not if you date a man or a woman (no one else here does) and enjoy the English language for the beautiful, flexible thing that it is. Emb...

The motorcycle is a gyroscope in motion. Use the physics not the mechanics. The bike wants to go in a straight line and it also wants to turn. Strength has nothing to do with it.

Convincing someone about what to ride is about your personal eloquence then anything else if they are already 'set'. I don't ride cruisers. I don't care for them so i can't help. I'd suggest a sport bike or a street bike because that is what I like. I'm 5'7 with a 33 inch inseam. I can flatfoot my F...

How busy things have been. I've ridden perhaps 500 miles this year? Why? Why? Why would I drop from thousands of miles at the drop of a hat to not even a thousand almost 8 moths into the year? That would be a result of life. I got into the police academy and graduated but that was a six month proces...

I do the two finger thing on both when I'm in heavy traffic. When I'm cruising along I don't cover either.

I think the Yamaha does have a shorter friction zone but that doesn't make them unridable. One simple learns how one's bike works. No different then the friction zone differences fro one manual car to another. I think he bikes is almost easier to feel becuase you are using your hands.

Anyway, I got my gas and wandered back onto the road. I was starting to get hungry but fast food places seemed nasty. I stopped at a rest stop to see about grabbing something but I couldn't get service for my life. Irritated, I bounced back on the bike and after another eighty tolls crossed into PA....

I'm on a FZ6. I love it. The low end is mellow. Almost like a car and little torque under 4k. It is great in stop and go traffic because it just kinda drifts forward without issues. All the power of the I4 is up top. They humm, buzz, and then scream to life. The FZ6 starts kissing its power band at ...

Okay the last day..

I've been trying to write about this all week. Real life came and smacked me across the back of the head so hopefully I can capture the fun of Monday. We didn't go to bed until like 1am. Not a bright idea when I had to get up at 4:30 but its what happened. So I got up at 4:30. I've never had a probl...

I just hopped on the bike last year and went to make my first long trip which was 10 hours from MA from VA.

Remember, goals are flexible. Stopping for a potty break and a stretch make a big difference. Drink lots of water, make sure you have at least three meals, and enjoy.

I have no problem with my chain. Just hit 10k miles with one adjustment by me and one adjustment by the shop becuase they changed the tire. My sprocket is still fine as well, I expect to hit 20k before I need to change it out. I clean it every few weeks and lube it when I remember which is pretty of...

I practiced looking where I wanted to go while driving the car until I became comfortable with it. Letting my eyes slide along the road and if I fixated on a point ripping my gaze away to continue on the road a good bit in front of me. I used empty roads that I knew very well to do it, but I think i...

I made it home on 3 hours of sleep, I got to my class, I'm exhausted, and Jehovas witnesses chased me at a rest stop.

I'll do detail later.
