Re: What did you do today...

Lol no still as single as ever. Not a student, I've decided that while I love to learn, school just isn't my place. I'm working at a factory making wind turbine blades now. Vestas V110 blades to be specific.

What are you up to? Still making trouble in the great not-so-white north?

Re: What did you do today...

Mother's day dinner. It's been raining and hailing and snowing for the past week here so no riding. How've you all been?

Re: suzuki bandit smoking

If it's after 30 seconds I'd say it's burning a little oil. Does it continue past that? If so, sounds like something is worn in your engine (probably valve guide seals). If not, you're fine, just keep on riding.

Re: Cee Bailey vs. Rifle

The vent is actually pretty remarkable for how much it helps in a hot environment, especially at low speeds.

Re: SV-Wolf's Bike Blog

I've ridden those DRs, they're great bikes!

BTW I'm sorry to have to inform you, but you missed your chance for a cameo in one of MacAskill's videos!

Re: Wrider's Scribblings

Unfortunately that's not quite true with sportbike tires on a long straight commute. My commute is about 25 miles each way on the highway, so they get squared off really fast. Besides, I drive the Forester, which gets about 25-26 MPG on average, and the bike averages around 40. Not to mention that b...

Re: Wrider's Scribblings

Been a while since I posted here... Let's see... Still have the bike. Didn't put many miles on it this year. An exceptionally rainy year combined with the fact that my commute is pure highway miles, then add in lots of school and the fact that I'm too broke to afford new tires and such means I didn'...

Re: What did you do today...

I got a couple of emails from Mike and JackoftheGreen asking if I was alright. Apparently y'all thought you could get rid of me that easily! Sorry to burst your bubbles, but I'm still alive and kicking... haha He linked me to the article though, and yeah my name is Ryan and yeah I am 28, and yeah I ...
