bike shops are rather odd...or at least all the mom and pa ones i have been too....they are very very laid back and would rather talk to u all day then work on ur bike...not because they are lazy but because they like other bikers...most tend to take their time in addition parts usually do take some ...

just soap and water then wd40 for the metal surfaces , ....i use turtle wax on the tank and other like surfaces....and then the secret ingredients....LOVE....

it shouldnt be a plug on the bottom it should be front and toward the right side......and there should be a filter also...check that....

use 87 oct...and try to find it with out eth in it...its not to great for bikes especially if u just do short ride...(doesnt heat up enough to burn the eth.) most bikes are meant to run on 87 and nothing better...if i put in 91 it just a waste of money...

well thanks for the concern but i also posted on other forums and the results were suz gs, kaw KZ, Yam XS, and honda cb....asking for what i did isnt unrealistic thought it does limit my choices....which im fine with because im not going to ride anything...

i currently have a 1978cx500 (honda).....and im looking for another bike though about same as mine its going to be a upgrade since im pretty sure im going to give my current bike to my friend when he gets back from IRAQ as a sort of welcome home alive thing...lol....
