I'm interested in purchasing a 1984 vf700C. the bike has 27,000 miles and is shaft driven. I was wondering if I could a alittle info on the bike before I proceed on buying it.

hey thanks... I did use JB weld a few months ago. it was working fun. I put some Gumout into my tank. I think that is what caused the leak. Does anyone know how to remove JB weld? I want to weld, then apply JB weld and then POR-15 it like no tomarrow lol.. but first I'm going to try to find a place ...

POR-15 and renu sound like miracle workers from the reading I've been doing. I'm gunna look around my area for a radiator shop. Renu sounds like the best way to go. Hirschauto.com seems to have a product very similar to POR-15. Hirsch is a lot cheaper. But its not about the money, its about the qual...

What is POR and RENU? Where can I go get them? I have the same problem with my 1982 Yamaha XS400RJ... I tried getting a new tank but Yamaha stopped making them.
