I have a hard time figuring out why anyone would have, as Gummiente put it, "extreme brand loyalty" to a corporation. What did they ever do for you, other than sell you stuff? If you like their stuff, fine. But, if someone should come along with much better stuff, is there any reason you ...

I have no problem with loyalty to people or ideals, and displaying that with a tat. I have several tats myself. I just find it odd when that is transfered into a corporation. The term you used in your previous post was "almost a mental illness". Had you said "I just find it odd"...

I have several tats myself. I just find it odd when that is transfered into a corporation. If H-D means th...

A typical motorcycle mechanic works at 60-90% efficiency when charging flat rate. This means that if a job should take 1 hour, it will end up taking him 1.1 to 1.4 hours to complete the job. Because like said above it needs to be perfect. Who eats the extra time? The mechanic. When I worked at a GM...

It just bothers me when someone says something like, "they shouldn't be charging me this much, because I can do the same work in 1/4 the time." I think most people have a problem with the factory flat rate charts. It's like the joke about the lawyer that died at 35, he asked St. Peter why...

The downside of course is that you need a bike, to do it with. If he takes the beginner course they provide the bike and the helmet for him. I would definitely use their bikes before I go out and buy a bike of my own and risk dropping it while learning. Taking stuff out of context 4TL. :( IOW, &quo...
