Oh I assure you my eyes never left the road, that's why I couldn't find the petcock. As far as gliding over, that's all I could do as I had run out of gas. Ha! What a day that was. And since then I have fallen over in the parking lot of my fave Mexican restaurant. I'll be sure to tell that story whe...

I'm proud of my sweetie, BUT I wish I could impress on him the importance of ATGATT. He bought boots, but didn't wear them today. While he looks adorable in Chucks, I can't imagine how hard it was learning to kickstart in them!

Oh nothing really happened. The teenager following too closely made me nervous until I decided to keep my eyes on the road ahead. She eventually backed off when she saw she wasn't going to rush me. LADIES - Newbie lessons learned today

1. No matter how close that teenager in the Sentra is following you on a rural road (even after you tapped your rear brake repeatedly), "ride your own ride". Look at the road ahead, not in your mirrors the whole time. There will undoubtedly be a turn or stop sign coming up. 2. Know where y...

1975 Moto Morini

Does anyone know anything about this 350cc V-twin? There's one listed in the local paper for sale for $750. It runs but needs carb work. It has new brakes and tires and a clean title. However, the owner has removed some of the original parts, such as the seat and tank, and replaced them with various...

And, FWIW, they were in a Yamaha parts bag with a Yamaha sticker on it. The bag was open and it may have gotten tossed with the Christmas wrapping paper.

Thanks for all the good tips. I, too, think the tube/clamp attachment looks like it should fit around the frame or a downtube. But, like I said, nothing was blatantly obvious when I tried to figure it out the other day. I will be gone the next 3 days for work. I will look at it when I get back, thou...
