While I hate the term "Newbie", I guess I qualify as that here on this forum. I have been riding since 1965 with a short hiatus in the middle...lol.

As you have heard from many others here....be smart....start small. The Ninja 250 is a super bike, and one of the people at work...a 225# guy uses one as his daily commute, so don't immediately think that 250 means "small".
