Two different bits of advise that helped my cornering immensely were; -Use your legs and core muscles for gripping the bike and keep those hands light on the handlebars. -Try weighting the outer peg in turns, start while you are doing your other "prep work" for the turn. Start gently as it can have ...

Sounds like you are becoming well educated and well prepared for getting into motorcycling. You might also look into a used Ninja 500, a little harder to find but a great beginner bike with just a little more ooomph. Have fun at your MSF course!

I really like my Fog-City insert...I don't have the one that tints in the sun so I wear sunglasses which will still fog if they are on just so. But the insert works great.

For the woman; how about a salt or sugar scrub for when she showers (lavender is a nice scent)
For the bike I like Plexus plastic polish...most of my bike is plastice except for the tank and the Crystal Glo does work well on that.

Group Buys

Ever thought of trying to organize some group buys? For example I heard a lead on a group buy for Corbin seats for my bike (stock seat blows) and will probably purchase...I would much rather use TMW though, I'm so loyal that way

It seems alot of newbies write about not wanting to deal with the "hassle" of upgrading in a year, therefore they need a bigger/faster/sexier bike to keep them interested..."not bored". Well I bought a used Ninja 500 to start with which was a perfect beginner bike then a year later I traded it in fo...

Don't get yourself all worked up before the class, they take things nice and slow. The hardest part of the test for me was the damn box too, but they told us putting your foot down/going out of the box were minimal point deductions so I did both  and I still passed!
