I kept the checklist inside the front cover of the manual. The only time I had a warranty claim (broken cam cha...

Turn the volume down. There were 5 pop-ups when I logged on this morning. It took me, unnn, 3 seconds to close them all. No complaint. Beats the heck out of those sites that half the screen is advertisements that are constantly reloading.

I'll chip in for the bail, though I sincerely believe the LEOs will consider it self defense against an onslaught of deadly stupidity.

Recently, the TW200 with the new sprockets touched an indicated 80mph down hill with a tailwind. According to the little radar thingie on the side of the road, 45 indicated is actually 44mph. That's on knobbies on pavement, on an interstate with a 70mph speed limit. In the olden days when I had a de...

well i guess what I'm really trying to find out is, how would the GSX-R6 compare to the V-Star 650?? I have never been on a sport bike before, and was just wondering what the difference in power is? How are they alike? They both have two wheels, a frame, handlebars, a seat, and a gas tank. Other th...

If the idle mixture is too rich, the engine will increase rpm as it uses up the last of the fuel, passes through the correct fuel/air ratio, then die. If the idle mixture is close to correct, the engine will usually sputter and die. If the idle mixture is lean, the engine will simply die when runnin...

Anyway, you're wasting your time arguing with Moto... it's like mud wrestling with a pig - all that can come out of it is that you'll get dirty and the pig will enjoy it. Yea, but it's so much fun showing how wrong he is... When the real pros write about the Suzuki 50s (all of them), the...

I don't run across many Harley, Iron Horse, Boss Hoss, etc., riders. They have their circle, I have mine. When one asks when I'm going to get a real bike, I reply, " ." I say exactly the same thing to the supersport riders with attitude, too.

If 3 seconds stalls the bike, try 5 seconds. Seconds sometimes get pretty short when you're stressing about doing things right.

I had trouble with the u-turns at first (first gear too jerky, 2nd gear too fast), then drug up an old dirtbiker trick from a previous life. First gear and a little bit of throttle to keep the slack out of the driveline (driveline slack is where the jerkies come from) and hard on the rear brake. Nev...
