Different type of bike...for a different type of ride?

I like my bike, but I never end up doing the type of riding I bought it for. I bought my Suzuki Boulevard M50 under the false impression that all the guys I know with cruisers that actually do ride all the time...would actually like to do it with me from time to time. Apparently we live on different...

Blue, just a thought since you said you think it was your front tire that jinxed you, check your tire psi. While you were pretty preoccupied with the SUV, a low tire psi might have enabled a wash out. I already added that to the list of "things to pay attention to when my body feels up to ridi...

I looked over my bike a bit better, and I looked at the scene of my accident as well, and it makes a lot more sense to me now, though not entirely. I realized that the problem was that my front end gave out, not my rear. I believe I was turning the bars (not countersteering, because of the VERY slow...

First things first, do not finance a bike. Save up for it and then buy it. ook at something like the SV 650 or Ninja 650R or the ninja/gs 500 as a first bike. Insurance for a brand new 16 year old on a CBR 600 will be over $1,000 a year. if by over 1000 you mean SEVERAL TIMES OVER, then yes, over 1...

I have no experience with either of those. In fact I could only guess about certain things that would make you like either of them.

Instead of helping I will give you a list of other bikes that are also awesome:

Triumph Speed Triple

Suzuki Bandit 1250

Suzuki SV650 (1000)

enjoy.

Thanks for the support guys. I'm really more upset that it happened, because I remember going "oh "poo poo", this turn isn't happening right" But I (and the bikes behind me) didn't really get a good idea for why or how i went down in the exact way that i did. Also i'm upset at ex...

Great Ride, Bad Ending.

I finally felt confident in some of my curves and headed for the twistys. Had a lot of fun zooming around farms and lakes and such all damn day, came home and got gas, left went to the pier, went to leave the pier and...i have no idea how...I guess we'll call it a low side. wouldn't have been a big ...
