But with a V-TWIN bike, when you open it up, you wont have to wait for the RPMs to come up. the minute you slam the throttle, it'll be immidiate power. I've noticed with Gixxers you have to wait till the RPMs come up.

If your on dry smooth pavement your front brake should be 70% of your breaking power. If your on gravel, or wet pavement, Use engine braking and rear break much more than the front.

Unless your on a 12 HP bike, weight wont play a big factor in what bike to get. Out of all those the '08 Ninja 250 is gonna look the best. (to me) Since you're 6 feet tall, you might not want any of the 250s listed. If you dont like sitting on the smaller bikes, try sitting on a V-STROM 650, and see...

If theres no cruiser that will fit you, you might wanna try a dual sport-ish bike, like a Suzuki V-STROM 650. Or a DR-650SE, or DR-Z400S. Those are meant for the taller people. Look at other dual sports.

So today i talked a friend into get an old Vintage '70 somethin honda TL125 Enduro bike. I helped him haul it in his truck and take it home. I would've road it to his house, but the throttle cable was broke. It's actaully a pretty nice bike to be a vintage. He's gonna slowly restore it, then start t...

Finnaly, a fuel injected dual sport.

Yamaha has released a WR250R for 2008, and while i was reading the specs i noticed in big black letters " FUEL INJECTION ". The first thing i said was "No WaY!" but as a read on and on the bike really is fuel injected. I'm hoping suzuki, kawasaki or honda will catch on to this and put fuel injection...
