I shiver and lean all those extra calories right off :) And I eat like a starving person in the winter. Like, throwing down whole gourmet pizzas for lunch to the amazement of my co-workers. I'm 5'3" and skinny, so imagine that for a minute :)

When it's raining hard I have noticed that the bike sticks to the road much better than a car. Damp is still dangerous, just ride mindfully.

35 degrees is pretty much my limit, and as cold as it gets, here. I'm not sure what the 75mph wind chill on ride to work calculates out to. Carefully chosen layers and snow-machining mittens keep me warm.

Yep. I used foamies for awhile. Makes things quiet enough you can hear yourself think. They're in the gun section at the Wally.
