Re: I'm planning trips to south US this summer and need help

I'll second the vote for Weather Underground. They have a Road Trip Planner on their site that's ridiculously useful, historical lows and highs by day, including average precip and whether a particular day, week of month is more windy than not, more sunny than not, etc.

Welcome to Total Motorcycle, you'll like it here.

Out of curiosity, does the Duc go in the van, or do you trailer it?

Re: What did you do today...

I made a Mother's Day breakfast for my lovely wife, apple pancakes with cinammon and sugar. Then, I tried unsucessfuly to get our sprinkling system up and running today. Something's wrong with the irrigation valve where it connects to our secondary water service -- that's one I'll have to call the l...

Agreed. If the pink briefs aren't convincing enough, the pose sure is.

Re: Sat nav for motorcycles?

Garmin makes a sat-nav device specifically for motorcycles, called the Zumo. I haven't used the device or read any reviews on them, but that's a place to start your research while you wait for somebody who does use one to reply too. They're quite a bit more expensive than the base model car GPS rigs...

Or, park your bike in front of the Port-O-Potty, get your camera all set up, and try to look nonchalant while you wait for a "Beautiful Stranger" to earn you some bonus points.

Re: Pink Panties

Oh no, I'm not saying you picked them because they had the symbols on them... I'm just saying that I found it funny you chose these ones from the multitudes. More specifically, I think the picture itself is hilarous, but you'd have to know a little about the whole 'temple garments' dogma to get the ...

Re: Pink Panties

I hope there's no etiquette I'm violating by posting twice in a row... I find it humorous that with all the 'pink panties' pictures you might have chosen from Google, you picked the one poking fun at the mormons. Those are angelic runes on those panties, from the infamous "Jesus Jammys" the mormons ...

No accidents yet, and really no close calls yet either. Two of us, a year and couple months under our belts.

Re: B.C. outlaws motorcycle 'skid lids' (about bloody time)

Here's a little background on the choice to wear helmets other than the full-face variety. The motorcross helmet I wore when I was riding my dirtbike had a chin bar. I wear corrective lenses, and the weight of the chin bar hanging off the front of my face had a tendency to drag my glasses down onto ...

Mike,

That's pretty worrisome, Rider is one that I just sent off for myself. The two year subscription. If I don't get any magazines either, I'm gonna start the revolution!

Take note, Rider subscription fulfillment centers! Send me my sh*t!.

Thanks Blues, I've had a lot of fun composing my entries and it's encouraging to see the number of views grow each time I add something new. We're in the planning stage for our Flaming Gorge trip, which is scheduled for the weekend of June 9th, weather permitting. Right now we're still trying to dec...

Wendover via Park Valley

Yesterday I finally went out and got the bikes washed. It was about time, considering we rode them 400 miles last weekend, and I've been sitting around for the last couple hours thinking that all the 'back-log' from our trip was caught up. Laundry done (that happened as soon as we were home, of cour...
