Re: What did you do today...

I'd check the suspension if the front is cupping that fast. Asking around, I've discovered it's pretty common for BT-021's on Trophys and other heavy sport-tourers, FJR's, Concours, etc. I've heard good things about the Pilot Roads, so it's time to branch out and try something different (all 3 of m...

Re: What did you do today...

Got pulled over on the way to the bike shop (rolled a red light, oops) to look at shoes and pedals. $240 later I turned around and went home so I could give the county my bike shoe money :( Now I'm watching Witchblade and ripping the Sage Francis CD I just got in the mail.

Re: Any bicyclists? New cycle time I think.

Well, I ended up getting the SRAM Rival equipped bike from bikes direct. They had a last minute sale for $650. It came in the mail today and I put it together. Holy monkey "poo poo" balls, this thing is fast. I tried to be clever and put my trek's seat post on it (it weighs less) but it didn't fit. ...

Re: What did you do today...

Today I've done nothing but drive around miami in an 18 wheeler. The air horn was used with reckless abandon. :D

By reckless abandon, I mean twice.

Re: Any bicyclists? New cycle time I think.

Ya, tell you what I think get one with an engine, you biscuit That's on the list... I have some other big decisions I need to deal with first. Life and all that jazz. Do you have a drivetrain preference? I prefer SRAM's DoubleTap to Shimano's STI, and triple chainrings look a bit wussy (especially ...

Any bicyclists? New cycle time I think.

Well, I used to ride quite a bit when I lived in minneapolis area, about 120 miles a week or more. But that was a year ago and I want a bike again now that I live in florida and can ride year round. I was thinking one of these these: Sram apex $600 http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/gravity/liberty...

Re: Organ Donation

I became a donor when I got my CDL. Figure my chances of getting hurt are pretty hog when I drive 100,000 plus miles a year. If something happens I may need an organ. And if things are bad enough, maybe someone can use one of mine.

B! Though usually because the all natural peanut butter is unsalted. I'm no hippy, but if I don't have to mix my peanut butter before I can use it, I'm not a fan.

A) Stone Temple Pilots
Or
B) Pearl Jam

Re: to fender eliminate, or not to fender eliminate?

Do you mean integrated as in having the blinkers be part of the tail light? That shouldn't affect the mounting of a fender eliminator. If it did, the stock fender wouldn't mount. Word of caution, those tail light/blinker setups make it hard to tell which way you're turning from a ways back, especial...

Re: to fender eliminate, or not to fender eliminate?

Personally, I think fender eliminators/tail tidys are plenty to clean up the back end of a bike. Not sure on your bike, but generally they bring the blinkers a little closer together and have a way to mount the plate still. As for the headlight, you can probably get a higher wattage bulb (think 10 w...

Only 2?! What'd you get? How's the family doing? My Ninja has basically been in storage for quite some time, and I floated away in a sea of bikelessness. I've moved a few times, out to the frozen tundra that is Minnesota, and now I live in Florida when I'm not working. I'm working for a trucking com...
