Why must a VTwin be in a "cruiser" type bike? If it's got the "Get up and go" then that's all there needs to be.

Do you have a volt meter? Can you measure the voltage on your battery? Are you positive it is fully charged? Do you have one of those portable jump start batteries? If so I'd try to hook it up and see if you can get the bike started that way. Also are you trying to start the bike in neutral? My brot...

hHHAAHAHAAA, I saw this on CNN. They have video of a guy driving off with a brand new BMW bike on the back of his pickup. I'd like to know how long he'll be able to keep it before the authorities get involved as his license plate was clearly visible in the video.

I'd query the local MSF to see if they would allow him to ride his own bike considering the circumstances. They may not allow it due to insuarance reasons though so be prepared for that. If that approach doesn't work, he can still learn on his own as well as help from a seasoned rider though it may ...

I'm going to start snubbing riders who are on bikes that are newer than mine... I figure since they are on a new bike, they are a bunch of squids... Anyone riding a bike older than mine, feel free to give me the 1 finger salute while riding by :|

I don't ride because I want to impress my friends with my "fancy" bike. I ride because I enjoy it, it's fun and it gives me a sense of freedom. If what my friends thought was the driving force for riding, I should really re-think my hobbies... I wouldn't call my current bike a "clunker" as it runs s...

Best of luck to her. The privilege of riding in the HOV was one of the reasons I got into motorcycling.

In VA, the HOV signs specify Motorcycles so there is no question of their status.
