I had my first hot ride yesterday. Friday morning, we are sitting at work watching the sun come up and I notice how hazy and cloudy it is. "Is it about to rain?" I ask, a bit shocked. One, no report of clouds, and two Nalian was on her way down and I didn't want bad weather. "No, its just the humidi...

I have the icon motorhead or something like that leather jacket. I really like it and it has great build quality. I was a bit leery on buying from them but it has been worth the cash I dropped.

On my list of things that happened to me today was a dude trying to merge into my lane. He was halfway there before he noticed me and I admit I was to shocked to hit my horn. Now I'd been riding near this minivan for a few miles. I had been a bit ahead of it actually so it only came up beside me whe...

I could NOT get my figure eight the first day. I was in tears over it. I knew I was going to fail fail fail fail fail *bawl bawl cry*. My poor hubby was trying to figure out what to do with me. I wanted to ride so bad and I'd been waiting 9 months for class and my bike was in the garage and I was go...

New enough will let you send it back or exchange it so no worries there.

Lookie newenough's closeout for gloves.

I have an icon jacket and like it, even if it is craptastic and from china.

Feel doesn't matter much for the shifting once you have the positioning down.

Poor me, I dropped my helmet. I was hot and tired and for some reason put my gloves on first. I dunno why. I had been out for about 3 or 4 hours at that point. I had to drive down to the shop where we had the vstrom drama and drop off the second key and the certificate of origin. I then headed back ...

Really, really bad riding. On Saterday, when we picked up the vstrom (as seen above) there where a lot of bikes at the shop. I tend to go during the weekday so I do not often see other people. There where two different couples. Both pairs were on cruisers but what excited me was that the women rode ...

The other half's new bike! He got it on Saturday (happy birthday for him) and had to leave Sunday night for a week long business trip. He will be back this weekend and he can ride with Nalian and I since she is riding down from Boston. I put on the top case I got him and raised the windshield up two...

Not only is it a huge fine and many points on your license it is a jerkish thing to do. People driving on the shoulder get in the way of true disabled vehicles and emergency vehicles. Nothing like trying to respond to a call on a clogged highway for an accident that is the reason the highway is clog...

I have to say it sounds off to me. If I turn my bike off in gear its staying in gear except to tap up to neutral from first. Rolling and rocking it doesn't do anything, the wheels are locked down in gear.

Buy new if you have the money, its fun to break your own toys. Buy used if you want. Buy something or wait it doesn't matter IMO. You know how much you want to ride. I got my bike before I took my class. I knew I wanted to ride. I knew I would ride. I had waited years for it. I don't regret getting ...

Michelin Pilot Powers I just got a set put on my FZ6. They feel amazing. I've read people's reviews of tires when it comes to feel and bike maneuverability but I couldn't relate. The difference between these and the stock dunlops is incredible. The feel and confidence in what the bike is doing is gr...

It is good you have a bike. Wait. I had to wait 9 months for the MSF and the last 2 months we had the bikes in the garage, waiting for us.

It is hard, but I'm glad I waited.

I noticed a sport bike in the parking lot a few days ago at work. It had to be someone from day shift. The other two people that ride both ride Harley's. The red and black R6 bespoke of a new purchase, but I didn't know that anyone else at work rode. It turns out that no one else did. One of the guy...

Mmm... I do love a plastic wrapped sports bike. It may also be what people are growing up with in forms of taste. Looks matter a lot and many bikes get shot down for being ugly. Once I eliminate bikes based off of looks, I have a much smaller group to work with. As a lover of plastic wrapped sports ...

He is fine getting the black and silver and swapping the cowl and rear fender fairing things for solid black ones. We did like the silver and black but that is not what we where supposed to be buying.

It was all very yucky.
