It sounds sexist, but it's not... if you're one of the gentlemen...your inner thighs and butt will probably be a lot more sore than your neck. I suggest using a grip exerciser (ball type probably) make lever squeezing motions and then flex your wrists (simulates grabbing the levers and also turning ...

In the list of next bikes that I have, the 650R is on there for SURE. It's an outcast amongst some of the other bikes though, I'm more into bikes that are standard first, sport second. The Ninja is sport look, sport feel, standard seating position, but it just rocks. I'm looking more towards: Triump...

The inspection ticket isn't very expensive is it? I had one years ago, but I can't remember the price.

But if you go, they wave it, you're still paying 35-85 (generally 50) for a court fee.

I'd just mail it in, it's not points on your license or anything.

Re: Starter bikes for fat dudes

I'm 260 lbs and 5'11" (don't know my inseam). What would be a good starter bike for me? Would it make a difference? I bought a Suzuki M50 (C50, S50, Intruder, Volusia are all similar to this bike as far as this post is concerned, all cruisers of one sort or another) And I played around a bit in a p...

I remember the first time I rode on my bike, and I pass a total stranger in the opposite direction...and he throws up a hand and waves WHAT THE ****!? HOLY CRAP! THAT GUY JUST ACKNOWLEDGED ME!!! IN A POSITIVE MANNER! Only time anybody puts a hand up around here is to flip you off, whether or not you...

CraigsList.com... WHAT A TEASE!!

So I decided to look at Craigslist now that it's more in the "prime" of the season than when I last looked...lemme tell you, I WISH there was this much activity last year when I looked! And when my debts are paid off, I know where I'm going to get my next one! (thankfully I didn't see any speed trip...

I think the bottom line comes down to this: In your Owner's Manual it says what your bike's total carrying capacity is. If you folks exceed that by too much, you're going to have problems in the long haul. For Sure. If you're under it: Make sure not to pack too much ;) If you're over it and it's a p...

As a newbie, you won't have any ability to know the difference to cause a problem. The only real difference in riding a shaft driven bike vs a chain is that when you take off from a stop, a chain drive has the tendency to lower a bit on it's suspension, Squat Down if you will. A shaft drive bikes, h...

You know I think MotoF150 is on to something. Suzuki really does suck and makes cr@p products and the m50 really is the worst motorcycle in the world. Moto, you know who would do something about this: Ralph Nader, consumer advocate. If you have $3000 bucks lying around for a Katana you might do mor...
