note this...

"Learn why the FOX5 I-Team says motorcycle riders are making some of those roads dangerous."

It doesn't say SOME morotcycles are making these roads dangerous, it says MOTORCYCLES are making SOME ROADS dangerous.

Granted they do a somewhat better job in the video. But not entirely.

Re: Music while riding with hearing protection

Music while riding with 25 DB hearing protection. Check out http://www.studiophonic.com/html/index.htm You can listen to your Ipod/MP3 player and get 25db noise protection as well. Very pricey but would be awesome to listen to tunes on those long open roads (not in heavy traffic) without being over...

how tight do draggin jeans fit? i ask because i'm a larger man (6'3 285, 38"waist) but as a cross country skiier and a swimmer, my thighs are ridiculous (34") and i have to buy real baggy jeans for them to fit right. Man I hear you. I can only buy certain brands of boxer shorts because my waist isn...

Rear...

I would add on some rear blinkers. The ones you have are pretty hard to see. Especially in contrast to everything else about the bike.

That is one bad *ahem* ride man.

Re: Cruiser tank bag or tail bag?

I was wondering if any of you use a tank bag or a tail bag...I know that these are mostly used by sportbike riders... I DON'T have a sissybar, so that's why I can't use a sissybar bag. Any ideas or recommendations? (the cheaper the better ;)) I've been wanting to buy this bag (linke below). They ca...

I just ordered a Nelson-Rigg Expandable Spork Tail Pack for my Boulevard. I'd love some hard saddlebags, if I had the $$$. In the meantime, I hope this pack will get me by. Happy riding. You *have* to let me know how that works out for you (pictures if you can) since we ride basically the same bike...

Ouch.

I feel like an exception to your rule...though not entirely. I drive a sporty cruiser. I wear *full* gear. Textile Jacket with armor pieces, Textile overpants with armor, Full finger gloves (wesh summer waterproof winter) Timberland Pro Workboots (I don't care that they're Timberland, they were the ...

My start...

This is how I started out...(am starting out...) I first did a lot of reading. I bought books, I ready websites, I emailed off a bunch of questions. I talked to sales reps, I talked to shop owners, I talked to bike owners, I talked to shop mechanics. I did very little forum reading, but that's becau...

Backing Up The Article...

Reading the replies there are a few misconceptions about the article that seem to have arisen. This article talks about the problem with 600cc and up, SPORTBIKES. The person that dumped their 600cc Honda ZVX or whatever they're calling their small cruiser these days...that had *nothing* to do with t...

Re: Cameron's [insert cliche motorcycle blog title]

I'm 17, I live in Acworth, Georgia (close to Atlanta), and I've always liked motorcycles, but fell in love with them when I started researching them after I dropped out of school (because I was under the impression [damn lying dmv] that you could get a motorcycle license without being in school, bu...
