Is the VLX Shado VLX the 600? If so, then I'm pretty sure each of these bikes will be a good bike for you to start out on, but they may feel cramped, and they may be rather...tame. when you comapre spot bike vs cruiser 600cc does NOT = 600cc. I ride a Suzuki Boulevard M50, meaning it is 805cc. That'...

thanks guys, i was comparing only to the 2007 models of each, and the 650 has almost no tail section, the 500 has a slight bit on one, and the 250 looks like a tadpole.

thanks again.

Ninja Owners! Am I ignorant or enlightened?

I'm browsing around kind of looking for a smallish older sport or standard. I'm looking about Craigslist and I see somebody selling an 04 Ninja 500r I looked at the picture, and to my mind it looks like the 250r, more metal in the arse end. see for yourself, let me know what you think. http://roches...

you know those white and red stickers you see on the back of big trucks? Well I took one of them, chopped the red part off, and then cut the white into strips.

I then put a giant \/\/ on the back of my helmet.

Tell me you didn't see THAT when I get rearended some day.

So that went pretty well. Only problem is I think my allen wrench was slightly damaged at the end, almost stripped a bolt. And then the battery had no good place to get ahold of it, so that was a pain in the "O Ring". but it's gone, and I've decided the passenger seat is going at some point, it may ...

And More...

My problem is, I've never worked with batteries before, it kind of scares the crap out of me. Please tell me some of the really "duh, that's basic knowledge" things that I will screw up if I do this by myself, thanks.

My uncle told me that when he got his bike the stickers had clear coat over them, so when he removed them he totally ruined his paint job.

don't know how common that is, but my stickers don't appear to have sharp edges...

Suzuki M50 - Winter Proofing and potential mod?

It's finally gotten cold, and i finally have time to rip the batter out of my bike. Joy. Any funky connectors or anythin I should worry about? Also one site I was looking at said they had a rack that goes behind the Rider saddle and acts as a passenger seat elimination panel...but of course the pic ...

I don't know about your bike, but any bike I've ever had anything to with would turn over with this switch (commonly called the 'kill switch') in off. All it deos is ground the spark to the plugs. It is common to see someone trying to start their bike for several minutes, then realize the switch is...
