YAMAHA was technically ready for such a rider - and he understood that. I think he likes the winning more than the challange. Now that he is rich he can ride whatever he likes - may as well go with the better bike/team.....so he may switch if something looks good, but for now - he is where he shoul...

I tend to agree with the others, but if you're determined to get another engine, I think used is most likely your only choice. If you can't do the work yourself, there's no question that fixing your bike will be more expensive than getting another used one. I know of an engine for sale from an 85 F...

Of course we could always spread the bets out across the board, team to team or something, Rossi/Edwards, Biaggi/Nicky, etc... :-) (ooops! i am sounding like a card shark) To spice things up, Highside, we could do something simple to make things more fun during the season: whoever is leading on poi...

Well, it worked pretty good last year..... Seriously, he will have to get hurt to not win it all once again this year. Now NEXT YEAR he needs to go green. Kawasaki needs this guy and he needs the challenge :D Rossi is young, but not dumb. It would take A LOT of GREEN ($) for him to go green....

I wish I had a scanner..... I used to have an excellent set-up on my '93 ZX6E. I had a set of soft luggage, that if I hung them over the back seat, they marked the body-work. I got busy at work one night and bent up some stainless steel 3/8" tubing and made a frame that would hold the bags from behi...

I'm still a little luke warm about this new bike from BMW. Those headlights are pretty funky..............This one is the Light Magnesium / Granite Gray Metallic combo and BMW has introduced some more exciting color combos. I'll agree that when Mike and I came across the first one in the flesh it l...

note: someone mentioned to me that there are larger fuel tanks for sportbikes available on ebay. NOTE TO HIGH_SIDE (re his VTR1000), boost fuel capacity from 16L to 20+ L, but it was something like $1500 unpainted. For dualsport bikes, there are Clark, IMS, and others available... later //monkey Th...

Kawasaki played name games with those models back at that time. Generally Europe was recieving bikes call ZZRs and North America were getting the exact same bikes labled ZXs. There is however, a substantial difference between the ZX-10 of '89 and the ZX-11 of '90. Then engines shared a similair if n...

Hopkins will beat Roberts Jr. He consistently has in the past. Roberts has been complaining about everyting since he won the title, while big-eared John quietly got faster... I suspect they are suffering from the same problems H-D has. Younger riders want sportbikes and not "old guy" bikes. I suspect that thier most recent demise was more due to thier passing of S&S Harley clones with valanced fenders as Indians for twice the price of a factory Harley. There has been so...
