Re: Hard to find bike?
That's why I suggested an add on windshield which I think gives better protection from the knees up than the fully faired bikes in these 400-800cc sizes which give you a lot of wind/rain in the face. I prefer wet feet to a wet head. You really have to tuck in on bikes like the Ninja and GS500 to ge...

Actually, no, there was no "de-restricted" version available. The Direct Connection computer INCREASED boost. This is why big power increases are relatively easy on ANY boosted engine...like the H2R. This is getting to be a circular argument here. There are many other factors for increasi...

Re: 300hp 2015 Kawasaki Ninja H2R Supercharged Announced
Unfortunately, there is a large segment of the population that really IS too stupid to be trusted with anything more dangerous than a plastic spork...but they buy 1000+cc zoom-splats, and hopefully kill only themselves when their "LOW SKILL" light flashes. You do realize that the mass maj...

It's not a new concept...again, it was true for Chrysler turbo cars THIRTY years ago! (I did it.) You are confusing the process of de-restricting a restricted engine with the process of building a race engine using high performance components. Example of the former in addition to the example you st...

Re: Hard to find bike?
John, does it have to be an actual fairing? If she is just looking for wind protection, she can add an aftermarket windshield to a naked bike which would open you guys to a lot more choices.

If you seriously believe this then I have a bridge to sell you.Jarlaxle wrote:If the "track" version is 300HP and the "street" version is 200, it's probably as simple as putting the "race" ECM in to crank the boost.

This is awesome! :kicking: Kawasaki has balls that other manufacturers don't have. :baby: Agreed. About time 1 of the big 4 grew a pair. Actually for a major manufacturer, Kawi has always been ballsy. They have made some crazy bikes like the original H2s, 750 Turbo, KX500, and the original Z10, ZX1...

Re: This Week: 2015 Kawasaki Ninja H2R Supercharged - Vote N
And even it is, how long do you think it would take high performance and modding crews to take your 200HP street legal version and up its HP to 300? I figure about as long as it takes to boot up a laptop. This is already being done within the high performance and street mods circles for cars such t...

You are probably referring to this blurb from the copy: Not really, didn't even read it actually. I have been following this bike since it was announced a while back so I knew that the street version would follow later. This race bike is probably going to sticker for about $70K. The street bike wil...
