Possible causes: too tight a grip. Get a throttle rocker so you can relax the grip and keep the speed constant with pressure from the heel of your palm. Also. rather than grab the grip like a baseball bat, slide your hands outward a tad and make sure there is a 'V' shape between your thumb and foref...

Where did you get the red SOLAS stickers? All I can find are the white ones and the regular automotive red reflective stickers aren't all that bright. Actually, only the white is SOLAS. The blue is simple reflective pinstriping ftom Streetglo.net (as are the large blue stripes on my helmet.) The re...

Yesterday, I was going over some back roads by the river, when out from my right comes a PELICAN ! (Nearest ocean to KC is a looooong ways away.) I jogged left and he turned right and dropped a big bomb of bird crap in the middle of his turn. (On purpose I'll bet.) We ended up going down the road si...

Instead of lights, I use highly reflective SOLAS striping, and reflective pinstriping. I make other vehicles' lights work for me.

The yellow-looking stuff below is actually red.

Zowie! That is a lot of cash to pay.

Here in Missouri, I pay US$ 510 for two riders, two bikes, and full coverage and some extras.

I can't complain, I guess......

I put the Lindby Bar on my 1200C with forward controls. No big deal, and very nice. Then I put some highway pegs on it, and hung some H-D fog lights.

Take an MSF approved Beginning Rider's Course, BEFORE you buy a bike.

In the class they will not only teach you how to ride, safely, but they will go over the types of bikes.

Then, once you pass the class and get your license, you can go sit on bikes and see what fits.

Welcome from Lees Summit.

There are a few of us from the KC area.

Based on your other post, I would recommend taking an MSF approved beginning riders course before you attempt to ride your new bike.

I would also recommend you contacting the manufacturer for a copy of the owner's manual.
