Yep, been snowed on. Hated it!

Snow falling on you isn't a big thing, but snow on the pavement is spooky!

...Are you looking for a performance cruiser? Or just a "hang out and relax" cruiser? But if he's looking for performance, he wouldn't be considering Harley's, right? You buy a Harley for looks, not performance. So how 'bout a Rocker? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v149/Monstermile/NV5...

Canadian World Domination...

Ok, Blues2cruise, now that i've been here awhile, I just must know about this "Canadian World Domination" thing!? I love Canada and have many great memories of/from Canada, but c'mon, what are you up to? Should us 'Merican's be concerned? ;-) No ill intent intended, just curious... -Paul :-)

You can EASILY do 400 km per day on a CB550. That said, I'd make certain you're on fresh oil, have your valves adjusted, tires are in good condition with correct air pressure and double-check all the usual things you'd check before any ride. Concerning the ride itself, if you've done mostly city mil...

I'm not a Harley fan, but to me, the XR1200 gets pretty close. The power-to-weight ratio is kinda off compared to the Italian, Austrian and Japanese competition, but still, it's probably Harley's best effort yet. Now, if they put the Rotax motor out of the Buell CR1125, they'd really be on to someth...

That's a good one! I'll add that to my list!

Also on my list, I want to spend a season following the MotoGP around Europe...

I am absolutely amazed riders still don't think the front brake should be used, even in low-traction scenarios. It's still providing a vast majority of braking force and it's a good plan to ignore it? Boggling. I'm all about the front brake on the street. I trail the rear into corners a little, but...

I LOVE Buell's -- especially the 1125's!!! But you can't rent Buell's on Kauai either! A Uly would be the perfect rental bike for the islands!
