Register Your Rides Here - Tell us about your ride!
To promote the common exchange of information, I encourage all members to list the bikes that they own, and have owned in the past, here in this thread. This will give everyone a resource to know who to ask about what bike.
Please follow the format of my next post, and please don't post other info or commentary here as it will be deleted.
If we keep this "clean", it will be much more useful and concise.
Please make one post per user. Use the "edit" function to add your new bikes to this registry.

Hey all,
Just got back into motorcycling after a hiatus. Bought a 2014 Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 NTX and am excited to do some adventure motorcycling. Here it is:
Would love to hear from all of the adv riders out there. Don't hesitate to say "Hi".

Presently I own a 2001 Buell Blast (chopper) and an '81 KZ750. Previously I've owned Sportsters, and Triumphs mainly but did own a honda... Lousiest bike I ever bought!!!!

Well now you're just showing off.
What was the MeanStreak like? I've wanted an '04 Meanie for a long time, really hoping that Kawasaki revives them in the new Vulcan S platform.

If I still had all of them, maybe...some I had for one day (brought Interceptor 500 home for $1000, sold an hour later for $1500)...some I got to keep a while and enjoy (put about 500 miles on the Yamaha FJR1300).
The MeanStreak was everything the reviews said it was. I was pressured by friends/family to come off my NightHawk 700SC and join them in the cruiser crowd, but I didn't want to lose agility, braking, power, etc...the Meanie had all of it in spades, especially with Stage 3 engine mods. The best year was 2004 (the one I owned). The engine was 1600cc and the front brakes were still 6-piston off the ZRX1200R. Prior to '04 the engine was "only" 1500cc, and after '04 the brakes went to 4-pots and they were nowhere near as good.
If anything, Kawasaki is dropping models from the lineup. I would have loved a 1700cc belt drive Meanie, preferably with a proprietary aluminum frame like the Yamaha Warrior had. But the power cruiser craze is well over and Millenials aren't buying expensive bikes.

I thought the '03 was the one I wanted, because I thought the fuel capacity went down when they increased the engine size. After your post I looked again, though, and it's the other way around. So you're right, the 2004 is the one I'd want.
I know cruisers are falling the wayside, but I'll keep hoping for them to drop that 1000cc i4 from the Z into that S frame. That would be a STUNNER.
Re: Register Your Rides Here - Tell us about your ride!
After 3 years of not having a motorcycle, I got another one.
Excellent news, congrats!

Sold the Road Glide and bought a Jeep last June, thought I could retire from riding after 37yrs. I was wrong. Forgot that I work at a motorcycle dealership and when this mint 03 Super Glide Anniversary Edition showed up last month, well, I could not resist...
